Mobile Crushing & Screening Operators

Our client is a locally based business in the Recycling and Waste industry, committed and dedicated to future environmental sustainability. Recognised as an innovator in the crushing and processing of waste concrete for use as an approved road base for Main Roads WA and other high-quality recycled products. They are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Crushing & Screening operator who strives to adhere to the following values.

The Role:

As a skilled Mobile Crushing and Screening Operator you will need to hold valid qualifications and licences & show a strong understanding in the operation of a Mobile Inclined Screen whilst ensuring production schedules are met & upholding the highest safety and housekeeping standards across the site. Confidently operate Civil Machinery such as Excavators, to productively complete tasks and maintain site efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage the crushing and screening plant, ensuring production schedules are met.
  • Plan and prepare for crushing and screening operations
  • Feed the crushing plant using a loader or excavator.
  • Stockpile and reclaim materials to maintain site efficiency.
  • Ability to conduct basic or diagnose repairs and maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Reporting and logging maintenance
  • Uphold high safety and housekeeping standards across the site.

Criteria:

  • Valid HR Drivers Licence
  • Prior experience within mining or quarry environments or working with a FINALY 674 Supertrak Mobile inclined screen.
  • Hold: RIIPRO301D unit of competency, "Conduct crushing and screening plant operations” (Required)
  • Hold: RIMPO320F Civil Excavator operations
  • Hold other valid operating tickets or Completed Cert 3 in Civil Construction (Advantage)
  • Proven experience with 35-tonne loaders/excavators in a mine site or quarry environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs
  • Current National Police Clearance – Ability to pass pre-Medicals
